We couldn't be more excited to interview Heather O'Neill, the author of The Lonely Hearts Hotel. Heather tells us what it's like to be longlisted for the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction, gives us some behind-the-scenes info about The Lonely Hearts Hotel, and talks about some of her favorite authors.
Heather O’Neill is a novelist, poet, short-story writer, screenwriter, and essayist. Lullabies for Little Criminals, her debut novel, was published in 2006 to international critical acclaim and shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction. Her most recent novel The Lonely Hearts Hotel was published in 2017, and was longlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction. Born and raised in Montreal, O’Neill lives there today with her daughter.
