Dewey's Readathon Challenge: Hour 5
Well, readathoners, we're just really getting into the swing of things over here for Hour 5!!
Some of Autumn's Recent Favorites
Here at the Reading Women podcast, we're all about books by or about women. At the end of the year, we see dozens of literary prizes announce their winners. But, unfortunately, women have historically been given short shrift in the awards department. We think they deserve more recognition.
For this challenge, we want to see a stack of some of your favorite books by women. Some ideas could be:
- If you had a literary award for women writers, what would be on your shortlist?
- What are some of your favorite women writers from your country?
- Do you have ALL the books by a favorite female author? Stack'em!
But don't have to use these prompts. The sky's the limit! So build a stack however you want to and decide how you want your photo to stand out. You could decorate it, have your furchild sit next to it, or coordinate the books' colors. Let your creativity fly! We just want to see a bunch amazing books by women. Easy, right?

Post your photo in the comments of the post about this challenge on our Facebook page.
(Note: If you post your photo just on your Facebook page, we may not see it because of privacy settings. So be sure to post it in the of the right place so we can see it!)
Each place you enter counts as a separate entry, so you can enter up to four times. We will be judging the photos based on adorableness and creativity, so let your ideas run wild!
This challenge closes at 6PM (EST), so be sure to enter before time runs out.
